These terms apply when you use the official Tier 9 Game Studios Discord server and the bots we run in it: Slime Bot, World Chat, and Sophia Bot (together, the "Bots"). Tier 9 Game Studios Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Bots. By using the Bots, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bots.
1. DISCORD'S RULES COME FIRST
You use the Bots through Discord, so you must also follow the Discord Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines. You must meet Discord's minimum age for your country.
2. WHAT THE BOTS DO
- Slime Bot helps moderate the server, answers common questions, links your Discord account to your game account, keeps your community roles in sync, and gives in-game rewards for community participation.
- World Chat relays messages between bridged Discord channels and in-game World Chat. A message you post in a bridged channel is shown to players in the game, and in-game messages are shown in Discord. Each bridged channel says so in its description.
- Sophia Bot tracks chat activity levels and gives level roles. It is a custom bot that runs on MEE6. When you use it, the MEE6 Terms of Use and MEE6 Privacy Policy also apply.
3. YOUR CONDUCT
Do not use the Bots to:
- harass, threaten, or impersonate other people;
- post spam, scams, or content that breaks Discord's rules or the server rules;
- exploit bugs, use automation, or use more than one account to get rewards, levels, or roles;
- try to disrupt, overload, or get unauthorized access to the Bots or our games.
4. IN-GAME REWARDS
Rewards that the Bots give have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We can change or stop rewards at any time. If we find that a reward was gained by breaking these terms, we can remove it.
5. MODERATION
We can mute, restrict, or remove any user, and unlink any account, if we believe they broke these terms or the server rules. Moderation actions can also apply in the game. For example, a mute can also stop you from posting in in-game World Chat.
6. YOUR DATA
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the Bots collect and how we use it. To unlink your Discord account or delete your data, follow the steps in that policy.
7. NO WARRANTY
We provide the Bots free of charge, "as is" and "as available." They can be unavailable, change, or stop at any time without notice. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from your use of the Bots, or from not being able to use them.
8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We can update these terms. When we do, we change the date below. If you continue to use the Bots after an update, you accept the new terms.
